Based in New York City, Karina -Venezuelan native- has brought her creative flair and intense passion for cooking to private dining rooms and events. She enjoys mixing multicultural exotic flavors in her signature dishes.
Upon graduating from the School of Culinary Arts in Venezuela, receiving intensive courses from the Cucina Italiana (Park Avenue), and the International Culinary School; Karina has collaborated in the kitchen of diverse families in New York.
Karina has an outstanding eye for detail allowing her to conceive an event from the idea to its execution, from taking care of the catering to crafting the event decorations, all while being budget conscious, traits that make her the ideal event planner. Her primary culinary career combined with two additional degrees -Graphic Design and Illustration-, are manifested in her food presentation and event ambience.
Adding to her credentials, Karina created the food menu at various coffee houses in Manhattan, was the sous-chef at La Cucina Italiana School, and launched her own company with the concept of privately cooking at her client's homes fulfilling their specific diet needs.
